Reading homework is set for the term in your childβs blue book. Each week your child should complete 1 activity from the activity list in their blue book. They should use their reading book to complete the activity. The blue reading journal should be handed in each week on your childβs reading day with their yellow reading diary and reading book.
This is a new adventure for us. I am looking forward to seeing all the work you are doing at home. Don’t forget to look at the remote learning section on the school website to find some fun activities. You can email photos of your work to me at…

Have a lovely time at home and I’m looking forward to seeing you all again on Tuesday 17th November.
We have had an amazing Halloween day and enjoyed making scary crafts! You all looked amazing dressed up! What a brilliant last day π€
Thank you so much for all of your hard work and positivity this half term, Year 1. I have loved being your teacher and I canβt believe how quickly the last eight weeks have gone! I hope you all have a lovely half term with your families.
When you return to school in November, remember to work hard for Mrs Murfet and always try your best! Thank you to you and your families for the gorgeous gifts and well wishes for my maternity leave. I’ll be in touch to let you all know when baby arrives. πΆ
Now that the weather is getting wetter it would be useful for all children to have wellies and spare clothes in school.Wellies can be kept in the classroom and spare clothes kept on your childβs peg. Please put clothes in a drawstring or plastic bag. Spare socks, trousers/tights are essential items. Please ensure all items are clearly labelled.
We are currently collecting Food Bank donations! If you are able to help, please send in an item for our Harvest Festival which we will be completing in class, rather than in church this year. Thank you, Mrs Clennell
